White Soliloquy 白言
White Soliloquy is a tribute to a theatrical icon Bai Yan that will bring audiences on a remarkable journey of Bai Yan’s career in theatre and television. This 60-minute monologue follows Bai Yan’s life from his humble roots in Jiang Su, China to his illustrious 60-year long career as an actor. The story unfolds on how Bai Yan with little education but a passion for performing, toured with the dance troupe to Hua Nan region, Thailand, Kelantan, and Penang and finally decided to settle down in Singapore as his home. He joined the then Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) as an actor, appearing in several locally made television dramas and became a household name.
Starring Timothy Wan, this programme will be produced and presented by Toy Factory Productions and directed by Award-winning director, Goh Boon Teck.
Performed in Mandarin.
Performance is approximately 60 minutes.

The fourth edition of Silver Arts will take place over four weeks from 1 to 27 September 2015, with a myriad of arts activities, including workshops, exhibitions, performances, talks, seminars and film screenings, created and curated for seniors and by seniors.
